I wake with a smile on my face. Last night was not what I expected. At all. I knew I had a connection with Talon, but my attraction to Hutton and Cohen seems to be blossoming as well. I’m interested in three men. What the hell is going on? I was ready to slip my panties to the side and slide down Talon’s thick length. The memories of the time we shared in the bathroom of Temple flooded my thoughts. Cohen and Hutton watching us with rapt attention only added fire to the flames of desire I felt in that moment.

I was so disappointed when Talon ran inside. Before he backed off, I felt more desired than I ever had before. To have three gorgeous men looking at me like they could devour me? Heaven.

Codi stretches out at my side, snuggling further into me. I scratch behind his ears and lean over to place a kiss on his head.

“Morning, buddy. You’re awfully comfortable here,” I say with a smirk. “Don’t get too comfortable. This is only temporary.” Temporary. I need to remind myself of the timeline of this situation. When the guys find out who was behind my kidnapping, I’ll be going home. I sigh, dragging myself out of bed and into the bathroom to get ready for the day.

After I’m showered and have brushed my teeth, I quickly apply some makeup and curl my hair. I dress in an off the shoulder black sweater, distressed skinny jeans in a dark wash, and black combat boots. I throw on some gold jewelry to go with it and then usher Codi to the kitchen with me.

“Good morning!” I sing-song as I walk into the kitchen to a sleepy looking Talon, striding past him to the back door to let Codi outside. He grunts in response, pouring his coffee. Or at least I think it’s his coffee until he reaches into the fridge, grabbing the creamer and pouring a generous amount in. He slides the mug over to me without looking up from the counter.

“Oh, thanks,” I say with a small smile. “Would you like some breakfast?”

“You don’t have to do that,” he tells me.

“I know,” I say with a wave of my hand. “I want to. I like cooking for people. It makes me feel useful.” I move to the pantry and grab Codi’s food. I pour his breakfast into his bowl and fill up his water dish before letting him back inside. I start on our breakfast, pulling out some ham, onion, green pepper, and red pepper, dicing them all before setting them to the side. Then I pull out the eggs and grab a pan for omelets. I’m so occupied with the food that I don’t hear Cohen and Hutton enter the room. I turn around and find Hutton holding Codi, all of them sitting at the island with sleepy looks on their faces.

“You all look tired,” I say with a smirk.

“We’re not used to getting up at the crack of dawn,” Cohen groans.
